About Us

Empowering a Knowledge-Driven Global Society

The Just Media Initiative is a media research, training, production, and advocacy center aiming to create a knowledge-driven information society, contribute to human development, empower democracy, and promote pluralism, universal values, and ethics.

It focuses on creating media literacy curricula, conducting academic and professional training, and promoting ethical communication laws and practices for a free media environment. The initiative believes media literacy empowers citizens to participate in democratic debate by not only listening and watching others but also producing and communicating their own views and opinions.

Just Media Research Foundation is a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) under Section 8 of the Companies Act of 2013.

Just Media Foundation trained more than 500 Indian and International students through media workshops in different country to Indian states from last three years. We have conducted media training & research workshop in Doha, Qatar, New Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, UP. We trained students in Script writing, photography/ videography, video editing, media research, fact-checking, media ethics and law, anchoring, citizen journalism.
Just Media conducted media internship program where we trained more than 1000 students in media research, report writing and data journalism.

Just Media Initiative aims to provide necessary support and training for youngsters with creative ability in order to channel their skills and potential in a way useful for Individuals, society, and the country.

We conducted a series of media dialogues and lecture series on marginalised voices, dalits space, muslim voices, women and tribal issues.

Championing Media Literacy and Ethical Communication

Our trained students have been published and engaged in prominent media organisation like Al-Jazeera, TRT World, The Quint, Outlook, The Print, News Laundry, National Herald, The Wire, Jansatta, Indian Express and other significant news organisations.
